Our Program

Park Slope Afterschool Center Corp. (PSACC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded by PS 107 parents for the specific purpose of providing an affordable quality, Out-of-School Time (OST) childcare program for PS 107 students.  The program actively engages children, encouraging cognitive, social-emotional, artistic, and physical development in a safe and collaborative environment.

We offer options for One-Day, Two-Day, or Monthly (3+ days per week) memberships, as well as a Drop-In option.

Membership Includes

Continual Care (2:40 – 6:00 PM)

Upon school dismissal at 2:40 PM, a PS 107 teacher will transition your child directly to their afterschool classroom, where they begin our program with their afterschool friends and enjoy an afternoon snack.

Homework Hall

Children in Grades 1-5 have the opportunity to work on homework under the supervision of qualified staff.

Specialty Programs

Free Play Time

We offer a wide variety of activities in arts, wellness, sports, and STEM--as well as opportunities for off-site visits to nearby areas of interest such as the Park Slope Armory and Prospect Park.  PSACC assigns specialty classes through a lottery process to ensure fair placement for all. Please Note: Children in Pre-K or attending on a Drop-In Afternoon are not offered specialty classes.
Supportive staff supervise children as they learn to play together and cheer for their friends during their free play time. We provide tabletop games and age-appropriate developmental toys, such as LEGO bricks.  PSACC also provides outdoor play time in the Big (Grades 1-5) and Little (Pre-K-K) Yards so that children can enjoy some fresh air and get the chance to play old school games like kickball.

Drop-In Afternoons

Families who have paid the $125 registration fee and need help in a pinch, but not regular weekly childcare, can sign up for a Drop-In Afternoon. On a Drop-In Afternoon, children will receive a snack, participate in Homework Hall, and enjoy a day of Free Play.
